Success stories
RESMIE
Resmie from Bulgaria came to Sweden in 2012, joined WOW in 2013, studied to be a chef and started working in 2014.
ANDREA
Andrea is from Colombia and joined WOW shortly after coming from Sweden. After having done the WOW-traineeprogram she got a job selling Volvo cars at Rejmes and today she works for WOW.
DJUNEYT
Djuneyt is the son of one of our WOW-women. Djuneyt is from Bulgaria and came to Sweden when he was 19 years old. In Sweden he studied to be an automation engineer and today works at Coromatic.
ÖZLEM
Özlem came to Sweden from Turkey and through WOW she did vocational training to be a chef and quickly after graduation landed her first job at Halmstad municipality.
SAFFANAH
Saffanah fled from Raqqa, Syria, in 2015 together with her cousin. She studied at the University in Damascus, however, because of the war she never graduated. Today she is a part of the WOW-trainee programme training to be a Volvo car salesperson at Rejmes.
GONGJE
Gongje from Kosovo had a hard time landing a job without any diplomas of basic education. The first job we found was to work as a cleaner but it was clear that she had the potential of becoming a salesperson. In 2017 she joined the WOW-trainee programme and is now a hostess for selling cars WOWs partner Rejmes.
NESE
Nese came from Turkey in 2006, joined WOW in 2013 and started vocational training to become a chef in 2014 which allowed her to work in 2015. Today she has a permanent position in a kitchen at an care home for elderly.
NOOR
Noor fled from Damascus, Syria, in 2015. She studied Accounting at the University of Damascus, however, never graduated because of the war. She joined WOW in 2016 and started the WOW-trainee programme in 2017 training to be an Accounting Assistant at Rejmes.
SHAHAD
Shahad is a building engineer from Iraq. Despite her high level of education finding a job in Sweden was difficult. With our WOW contacts she first did an internship at MTA followed by further studies and now a job at Stena Recycling.
FAHAMIDA
Fahamida came to Sweden from Bangladesh in 2012. In Bangladesh, she studied Social Sciences and worked as an actress. Today she is a highly appreciated kinder garden teacher.
